Kies Won't Accept My Serial Number

I am trying to use kies to fix my n910a but it won't accept my serial number for firmware upgrade option. I have tried every combo of the IMEI under the battery that I can think of and no luck whatsoever. Does anyone know the proper way to enter a serial for the n910a? BTW my phone is in a boot loop.
