Good morning my phone does not work , try putting on other software for the HTC SYNC and ****ed me . My phone is an HTC M7 VERIZON , I can access the hboot and recovery and when turned on shows black screen .

Google Now doesn't make calls, set calendar events, or anything really.
Hi. This is m first time writing something of my own here at XDA, and i only came here because i couldn't find anyone that were sharing my problem. Google Now hates me. When i am talking some times interrupts me, even though i talk as fasts as i humanly can. When I ask things like:
What does the fox say?
What is the fastest car?
etc. it doesn't answer. It doesn't even show what it would have said if it had gotten back its voice. Please help... I often use it for making calendar events or giving quick texts when bicycling.
I have a Nexus 6P (ironic, right?) that is rooted and has xposed framworks, but i only use it for greenify and cpu-control. Not custom rom and everything updated other than the newest security update.

Here I will tell you how to install simultaneously 2 SIM & SD Card in Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
You will need 2 SIMs (nano SIM) and an SD Card (up to 200Gb).
Step 1. Take out the metal portion from SIM (need permission from operator in some country , do check that)
Step 2. Fix the SIM on SD card by Glue
Step 3. Install modified SD card in SIM tray along with the second SIM
Step 4. Done

[Guide] How To Update To The Latest Marshmallow 6.0 From B180
As some of us including myself have been wondering how do i update my honor 7 while running android 5.0.2 to the latest Marshmallow 6.0 update if my honor 7 is rooted?

· Step 1: We need to unroot honor 7 before doing anything else

Defy Wifi drops problem is driving me crazy, tried everything, plz help !
Hello guys,
I've been trying to fix wifi on my Defy since I got the phone a month ago and I'm starting to get really frustrated with this problem.
I usually just read, dont post on forums but I've tried alot of solutions found on this forum and others and. nothing has worked except flashing CM10/11 or SlimRom. Wifi doesn't work properly on stock ROM or MIUI so my guess is it's a framework problem which has been fixed on newer versions because as soon as I swith to android 4.0 or above, I have no problem, but these ROMs eat up alot of the phones resources and I would like to have a more fluent experience so I want to stay on MIUI.
Any other defive connects fine to my Asus router.
So on any gingerbread ROM (stock/custom) wifi works fine a few minutes and then the signal drops and disconnects. After that I can't see any wifi networks in range. and only works again if I enable/disable wifi or activate/deactivate airplane mode, but it drops again after a few minutes.
I've tried changing every setting in the router(changed channels, frequencies, disabled 802.11n mode, changed to g mode, etc), or in the defy related, nothing works unless I flash an android 4.x.
Plz help, I'm desperate.

No service with valid sim card
Hi everyone,
I'm having a very bad issue with my Nexus 5.
Last week, my mobile network stopped working, always displaying "No service".
The sim card was still recognized, since I had to enter my pin code after each reboot.
So I tried to put my sim card in a friend's phone, and it worked perfectly on his.
Next, I called Google tech support to get some information and they simply sent me another Nexus 5 to solve the issue.
The thing is, I'm having the same issue with the new phone, but it's even worse.
The sim card is not recognized at first when I reboot the phone.
After I put it out and in once, it asks me for my pin code. And then, I get the "No service" again.
If I try to make a call it says : "Turn off airplane mode to make a call" (see attached screenshot). I tried to turn it on and off, nothing works.
I must precise that the network worked as a charm with the new phone for 3 days and then nothing.
I tried several sim cards from different service providers, and I get the exact same issue every time. and boot in safe mode but i get the no service again
Here is my configuration :
Android 6.0.1
Security patch level : 1 january. 2016
Baseband version : M8974A-2.0.50.2.28
Build number number : MMB29S

Well, i just got my hands on a Moto X 2014, already updated to Android MM 6.0.
Was trying to install TWRP through fastboot, but i keep getting this message:
"FAILED <data transfer failure <Unknown error>>"
I'm sure i have sdk tools properly installed, drivers downloaded, fastboot mode on the device working properly as well, and an unlocked device... So, i'm kinda new at this, and i'd appreciate your help very much!

Low performance on resurrection remix rom

i flashed resurrection remix 5.5.9 build 7.3 on my zenfone 5 yesterday..the link to post is:

after flashing i was facing very low performance issues.the entire ui lagged a lot and benchmark scores reduced to half as compared to stock rom...i had flashed xposed also...
i contacted tank0142(coz he posted the rom) he told me to turn of ambient display ,i did so and rebooted,after reboot the performance improved and became like stock rom,but after few hours the performance dropped again....i also noticed that while running antutu benchmark in 3d test,the test run super smooth in beginning but after 2-3 sec the frame rate drops to just3-4 fps......
anyone please help...

I have noticed something weird with my device. When I connect my device into a computer or laptop running on Windows 7 and then view the contents of my "sdcard folder" or the /storage/emulated/0/ directory, there are some files and folders that can't be seen.
Those files and folders, however, can be viewed in an explorer app within the device such as Root Explorer or if I access my device from my computer through SSHDroid using WinSCP or command terminal like Putty.
I'm attaching a screen shot of what it looks like.
Do anyone here knows what's the issue in here, what caused this, and a way to fix this?
I'm running on stock rom 6.0.1 build number MMB29V, and my device is rooted.

Platform.xml caused broken bluetooth and write permissions
So, this all started, because I was annoyed that Dolphin Browser, wouldn't let me save directly to the external_SD\download folder. I googled, and found out it was a thing since 4.4, that writing to the SD card was kinda wonky. Anyway, I did the "fix" where you add those lines in the platform.xml file, and bluetooth no longer works (something I use every day, so it's important to me). I deleted the file and restored my backup, which at the very most, stopped the bluetooth toast error from constantly appearing. Now, I can no longer take screenshots, or use the camera app. I also noticed that sdcard0 no longer shows as an active directory. Everything appears to have been moved to emulated\0. I have used Root Explorer to try and change folder r/w permissions, to no avail. I'm wondering if having Apps2sd move everything to the sd card, the day prior, aided in this debacle. I have tried using the apps on the play store to fix the sd issue, which just tell me that it's already fixed, even though it isn't.
Is there a known fix to this, other than wiping and starting completely over? When I attempt doing a factory reset, do I need to have the rooted image on the root of the internal memory, and by that I mean, do I need to re-access sdcard0, or will it work on the emulated/0 mount? Will this cause a boot loop?
I am on 11A, and rooted.

Accurate CPU Temp?
I observed none of the CPU Temperature apps is showing the real reading. Or is TouchWiz trying to fool them by showing low readings? because my phone is getting a lot warm for touch even in a low temp.(according to the apps available in Play store). Is there any way to see the real temp through software itself?

Gear S2 and Galaxy S7 Edge DRASTICALLY Draining battery
I've had my Gear S2 since October, (the sport model), and originally paired it with my Galaxy S6 Edge up until a few weeks ago when I received my S7 Edge. I used to get EXCELLENT full day battery life, like 10+ hours with like 30% left by the end of the day. Long-story short, incredible battery life. But every since I paired it with my new S7, not only does it drain the battery faster, but almost at unrealistic speeds. I'm talking 2 hours max and the battery on the watch is at 30%. I haven't changed anything but pair it with my S7 Edge. I can't imagine what would be causing it, or even how to run a diagnostic to be able and see, but I can't wear my Gear S2 out anymore because its just absolutely killed the battery. Any ideas?

I only have 3G(mobile data) in android marshmallow
Hi, I have a problem with my mobile network. I only can use 3G in any based rom from marshmallow (Android 6). If I try to install another ROM like Lollipop or Kitkat for example, i can't use it because don't work.

need help with smartphone

Why does the screen keep coming on?
The screen turns on randomly. No notification. No rhyme or reason that I can spot so far. The Always On Screen is set to off. The "Keep screen turned off" is enabled, though enabling it hasn't helped. The screen still turns on randomly. I'm running PB5. I didn't have this problem running the version it shipped with. This seemed to start immediately after I updated to PB5. I had the phone for a little over a week before I updated.

Disable support for FEATURE_AUDIO_LOW_LATENCY / Bluetooth audio issues
This may be an odd question and I might be completely out of my depth. I got a swanky new set of bluetooth headphones for my Nexus 6 earlier this week so that I can surreptitiously play more games with audio at work. I noticed a handful of the games I wanted to play had incredibly bizarre sound distortions.
Doing some digging and asking elsewhere pointed me to a defect in the Unity engine that describes this exact case. (Tried to post a URL here but apparently I have too few posts. Unity Issue tracker 758142)
Apparently this is a feature that is only supported by some devices, so I was hoping there might be a way to bypass or toggle this feature until the Unity defect is fixed and some of these game makers update their apps.
Any pointers?

Moto G (Falcon) won't boot into recovery or normal boot.
I tried to install xposed today on my Moto G (which is, or was, running CM13) but it failed and then was stuck in a boot loop. I know how to fix boot loops and I tried to restore to a backup I made earlier today, and everything looked as if it worked until I couldn't even boot into fastboot for the longest time. It eventually let me boot into fastboot but when I try to boot into recovery or do a normal boot, it ends up giving me the "You have unlocked your bootloader" screen for a few seconds, vibrates, and then shuts itself down. Can anyone help me?

Trouble restoring EFS nandroid backup with TWRP 3.0.0.0
Hi
After doing a nandroid backup with TWRP 3.0.0.0 for all partitions including EFS when trying to restore after booting up my device it I get an "invalid IMEI" error.
Looking inside the EFS folder I can see that most files are missing and only a default nv_data.bin has been created.
Is there another method to mount the efs.mtd.win file and copy his contents?
Or perhaps another method to restore it or at least understand why it's not restoring properly?

Volume knob went wrong
I have a KGL unit, and my volum knob wnt wrong. Volume down is OK, but Volume up is softening the volume 90% of the cases.

This is my first post here and I'd really appreciate advice in this matter.
I've spent the past couple of hours searching for an answer but nothing works or totally irrelevant results.
I have a problem where I'd rooted my phone with KingRoot, changed it to SuperSU successfully (restarted my phone several times since then and no issues)
I installed TWRP (only the app) from the Google Play store and that's as far as I got before I powered off my phone to cool down before attempting any installation of TWRP. Powered on my phone and I can't get past the Samsung logo.
Recovery won't come up, Download mode works but restarts itself and volume buttons do nothing to let me confirm download mode and so it's sending me in a loop. Samsung logo and restart again and again. I insert my battery and the first thing that happens is my phone goes on a mission, determined to power itself on only to Bootloop.
No, before anyone suggests it be a hardware issue, it's a brand new phone. There's nothing wrong with the buttons.
If anyone is going to point out the obvious in saying that I'm responsible for rooting my device, I'm aware of this. The rooting procedure was a one-click method which was successful and caused no boot issues after restarting the phone countless times.
Basically:

Can't get to Download mode without it getting back into the bootloop after 5 seconds or so. Volume buttons do nothing to confirm download mode.

Sorry for my bad english from ahead of time.
I got a Asus Tf300T that last year Dec 2015 I had installed using TWRP recovery and updated the firmware to 5.0. All was smooth from Dec to 2 Days Ago.
When I turned on the machine it was stuck on the Asus Logo. So I turned off the machine and turned it back on and same thing. Did the vol - + power button. Got into the recovery mode with the 3 icon (recovery,usb,wipe). I click on the recovery got up toward the Team Logo then it got stuck. I turned of the machine tried it again same thing. When I connected the device to the PC it told me APX . I again whent into the 3 icons and selected the usb icon the tablet froze , I though might be due to the driver, I did a search online how to browse for the driver and installed the driver (Andriod ADB Interface)
But I'm unable to see it as fastboot. Now when I disconnected the device. I turned on the device again , now this time it shows the Asus logo with a blue bard bellow it then it loads all the way then black screen. I have no clue what else to do if someone can help me with this would I be very grateful

Huawei Specific watch faces?
Hello friends,
I have loaded many faces on my phone, but still when reading the descriptions, they are mostly for all other watches and 'compatible' with the Huawei Watch (duh). But, I notice that most, 99% have lower resolution than the pre-loaded Huawei faces. So I ask, if you know any site that has faces made for the Huawei watch (high resolution) please share here for the benefit of all.

Note 4 keeps freezing and restarting
Hi guys, hope someone can help.
I've had my note 4 just over a year now and not had any problems at all. I've always had notes 1 2 and 3 and now 4.
Never bothered rooting the note 4.
So..... out the blue my phone starts restarting and freezing regular. I'm talking 15-20 times per day.
Got no idea why but got so frustrated that I restored phone back to factory settings and it's still doing it.
Anyone know why this might be.
I'm 90% sure it's not memory as I have a 64gig memory card in it. And don't actually have many apps downloaded.
I've cleared all cache as well via apps and also via the volume up power and home key method.
Please tell me someone knows what the problem is here as I did searches on Internet and many are having the samended problem.

Put all four volume bars (Ringtone, Media, Notifications, System) at full.
Connect your phone to your car via. Bluetooth.
Put some music on (any app will do, they should all work the same).
Make sure all four volume bars are still full.
Open Google Maps and make the voice say something.
On my phone, the Media volume (that controls both music and voice notifications) turns down to around 50/60% every time s/he speaks.
It's very annoying!

Is there a fix for GPS/Compass issues?
I tried many different apps to calibrate the compass on 5x. They calibrate the phone for a moment but then when I open maps I start to move with the phone the pointer keeps on slowly rotating clockwise showing wrong direction I'm facing. Can this be fixed by some software somehow or is this a hardware issue? What should I do to fix this?

Phone restarted and gogole account delinked
My S3 restarted :( while launching Whatsapp, after which the google account is not linked in my phone. Due to this I don't have any contacts. My phone crashed and gets slow many times usually, but its first time that the account got delinked. Is this serious. I plan on updating to the latest build today itself. I'm using a two months old build.
What can be done to fix this apart from getting a new phone?

Running Hot
I just got this phone 3 days ago and noticed the phone gets hot like 105°F just browsing on Chrome. Anyone else having this issue?
I came from the Note 3 and that phone never got hot just browsing.

Two important things to keep our Note in good running condition
Everything needs to figure out. For some people it maybe too late now but for me it is still new.
Recently I figure out that our that our Note really needs two things to keep it running well:
1) a ram booster app to keep it in good condition.
2) a trimming application. trim is already too old topic and I guess everyone is make good use of it. I use free trimmer app from Gplay and it seems perfect!
But for ram booster, at least, it is new to me.
In the past I rarely had any problem with ram running too low. But it become more often now. The reason I guess is that newer google and other applications are too much ram greedy now. They all want to stay running in background and eating too much ram.
So now I find out that a ram booster is needed to control behaviors of background applications and keep a reasonable amount of ram for the system to function well.
I am using free Smart Booster-free cleaner from the Gplay and it works very well. The handy function is auto boost which allow users to set minimum amount of ram when the app will auto boost ram (free ram from background application). I set it to 150 MB. So far it run perfectly.
I hope it helps for other to keep Note in perfect running condition!:good:

Cant go back to Sense (from gpe)

Since i flashed the gpe ruu, i cant get back to sense.
I tried almost everything. I tried 3 different ruu.exe's, 2 different ruu.zip's and dozens of firmwares. (old and new ones, international and devEd's)
My Bootloader is unlocked, i have s-off and supercid.

Error 505 when updating Amazon apps
Since updating to Marshmallow, the Amazon, Kindle, and Amazon Music apps will not update on my Turbo 2. I get an Error 505 message when attempting to do so. I have tried clearing the data for each and disabling then enabling, but nothing has worked. Has anyone else had this problem and/or know of a fix?

best way to take marshmallow ota and keep root and s-off
forgive me because normally i do do my homework and find the answer for myself as im not new to this awesome site and already know how things work here so I am really sorry for Im sure this has been covered but simply put I have very little time due to some life bs thats going on with me right now and cant dedicate the appropriate time to do my homework,. Im on 5.0.1, s-off and running a stock prerooted firmware from the ruu file DOTTAT_VZWM8_S_OFF_5.0.1_SF_FUU. My phone without me doing anything has downloaded the 6.0 update and I know sooner or later verizon will force me to take the update. What is the best way to upgrade and still keep s_off, unlocked and rooted? once again I apologize for this rash approach because I do respect what you do and I know making people do homework is how to best educate them. I appreciate any help whether being a direct answer or a link to the appropriate forum for the answer, and and all help is most definitely appreciated.

Boot Logo Loop?
Hi,
I'm having a huge problem with my Moto X Pure Edition. After I tried to push the SuperSU.zip and went to reboot, my phone went to reboot but stayed on the logo screen. I'm still able to shut it off, and go to into fastboot and bootloader, but it's just stuck on the logo screen. I'm going to feel dumb if it's permanently bricked, since I was so close to getting this thing rooted.... FYI, I was using TWRP and running android MM 6.0

How to add scramble lock?
Was wondering if anyone knows how to edit the systemui to add scramble lock pin to the security settings menu? I do have xposed and would be up for a mod if there's any but out of the ones i've tried they didn't have the feature. Also i'm on truepure 2.7 and mm if that matters

'Mute phone alerts & calls' not working on Marshmallow
I have an LG G watch connected to my Galaxy S5 running CM13.
Even though I have 'Mute phone alerts & calls' turned on in AW, the phone still rings.
This worked properly on CM12.1 and still works if I restore my last twrp backup of CM12.1.
Not sure where to post this because I don't know if it is a problem with Android Wear, Marshmallow, or Cyanogenmod.
I see lots of people posting this problem for lollipop but it appears to have gotten fixed. Now it's back. At least for me. :(
Anyone else having this problem or is it just me?

Canvas HD Not turning on, beeped once :/
Hey guys,
My mom's canvas HD, rooted and running MIUI v5 I think with CWM recovery (Ik its old but..) just wont turn on. The charging indicator lights up but the phone will not power on. I plugged it into the wall and tried turning it on again but it beeped once and i haven't touched it since. I tried running a few adb commands and all i get is an error:closed message on the command window.
Is there any fix to this problem guys?

"OK Google" while running android auto
So I installed the 4100nex and mapped the audio controls to my 2005 Altima SE-R steering wheel controls but It doesn't have a microphone button. So every time I want to search for something I have to touch the mic button on the head unit while using android auto. I DON'T want to have to do this and was wondering why OK Google won't work even after setting my M8 to always listen for the commands? Does android auto app automatically turn off that function when connected to the HU? I am sure other folks with cars without microphone buttons and android auto head units have similar issues?

Throw me a life line...please
A little knowledge is dangerous. I have a tab 3 sm-t217s that I wanted to root and use a custom rom. I installed twrp recovery and flashed a cm rom but I really didn't care for it. I decided to flash a differentry rom and when I wiped, without thinking, I wiped everything. I can't boot to recovery but I can get into download mode. I assume I wiped everything so what can I do now?

Anyone ever use Incipio Level 5 cases?
I like the Defender I have, but it's got its downfalls like the screen protector (can be removed I know) and the inner shell squeaks due to the tabs always become slightly loose.
Anyways Incipo has the Level 5 case. It looks like harder material than the Defender and a built in screen protector.
It's not out yet but soon it will. Has anyone used it on a previous phone? They have a level 4 too. Is that any good? You have to buy a screen protector for it though and if it's really tight it might not work with tempered glass.

My S6 Edge WON'T RESET. its frozen. all black screen, LED is blinking baby blue. HELP
Someone please help. My phone is rooted and flashed to custom ROM.. Extreme syndicate to be exact. Been using for about a year no problems. Today i charge my phone. Eat dinner. come back to find my phone has blue led blinking as if i have a message to check. I press power or home to turn on my screen and nothing happens. Phone is not hot at all. I try holding down VOL DOWN+POWER forever and it doesnt reset. Wtf? Im so pissed!! I plug USB into computer and NOTHING. doesnt detect nothing. Someone please help.... Im pissed cuz i spent 700 dollars on this thing bought it straight from Verizon store. and i rooted it... now im afraid if i take it to verizon they wont fix it or help me cuz I rooted it... what should i DO?????

LG D858HK unable to get into download mode suddenly(not brick)
I wanted to flash the 20e kdz to my phone as 30a sucks. So I tried to boot my phone into download mode by pressing the vol - and plug it into the PC but it didn't work, I displayed the LG boot screen and show me the battery status. Really Need Help! Stuck on Samsung Logo Screen with Kernel is not seandroid enforcing
I am using Note 3 N9005 with the official rom 5.0 N9005DXUGBOK1 then I root my phone by using CF Autoroot htle N9005. Then I flash twrp 2.8.7.0 htle 4.4 by odin. Then I boot my phone in to very mode and doing wipe data/ cache/ dalvik cache and format cache/ data/ system/ preload then install Tazzy T9 Rom after finishing the installation my phone got stuck at Samsung Logo with Kernel is not seandroid enforcing and I try factory reset, restart my phone, and after 2 hours of waiting at the loop of Samsung Logo I decided to flash the official rom just so that I can use my phone again. I already tried installing others rom like Music of Life and DarkWolf but the same thing happened. So for now I have to stick with the official rom. Is there anyways to solve this problem?

Kies Won't Accept My Serial Number
I am trying to use kies to fix my n910a but it won't accept my serial number for firmware upgrade option. I have tried every combo of the IMEI under the battery that I can think of and no luck whatsoever. Does anyone know the proper way to enter a serial for the n910a? BTW my phone is in a boot loop. Galaxy S7 specs?
Hello all. I bought an S7 at Verizon. I have been to eight or ten sites that gave me eight or ten answers. Octa-core Exynos, 820 Snapdragon...... THEN i decide to use Everest, a program to tell me all about my hardware. It says four chores, but with speeds from 300mhz to 1.6 ghz.
Okay i have the snapdragon, that's cool, but it's suppose to have two 1.6ghz cores, and two 2.1ghz cores! I just have a feeling that I've been screwed here.
It's not that the phone runs crappy or anything, but I'd really like to know ebay I've paid for. Does that make sense to anyone?

Sorry this is my 3rd attempt to get a message out there for help so excuse if my other 2 have gone somewhere else and I am repeating myself. I have a Doogee dg310 Voyager and recently some of my contacts have been duplicated in my contacts list (not of my doing) but more worrying is that contacts are disappearing overnight (again not by me) from my phone. I have no message to say the SIM is full which I have had with my Samsung in the past. Both my wife and some friends have the same phone and are not experiencing the same problem but then I am using a dual SIM, one here in Spain and the other is from a UK company (Orange/EE). Digimobil is the SIM I use the most and it's this one that where the contacts are being removed from. Digi say it's not the SIM but the phone that is at fault. Can anyone help please?

I have boot loop problem and when I open mtk kit it shows device not revealed I have installed all drivers and flashed and restored custom stock backup Cwm backup.
And in most threads user is asked to enable USB debugging but how can I when stuck in bootloop
I have backup of stock ROM plz tell me how can I flash or else but I wan my phone to work

Battery drain in Alarm (screen on)
Hi,
I really like the alarm/clock app on the Nexus 6. I don't use snooze but i set up like 10+ alarms for waking up in the morning. Sometimes I cannot wake up and the alarm just stays ringing after every 10 minutes. Today, I woke up late meaning alarms kept ringing for long with screen on obviously. Then, I noticed that my battery had gone from 100 to about 61 when I was in office and battery stats showed about 1 plus hour of Screen on time which was weird because i didnt use the phone that much then I realised it might have been the alarm. But 40% battery drain is too much. Any suggestions on this? Maybe how to keep screen off when alarm is ringing?

Xiaomi technology recently released an international version of the Xiaomi Yi action camera: US version and EU version. Both version are available in white and black color. At the same time, Xiaomi will ban APP service of Chinese version in the overseas, which means that if you purchase Yi action camera of Chinese version, and you can't use it because of language different.
What is international version?
An international version item is a product depending on the country of origin, international versions of a product may differ from domestic versions in their default settings, packaging materials, language on packaging and instructions, AC adaptors and plugs, accessories, manufacturer warranty or other features.

Best browser for S7
Hi, I have just purchased S7 few days ago. I'm satisfied with the device and still getting used to it. Currently, I'm also using iPhone 6S.
I still haven't found the right browser for me. I really like Safari on my iPhone, that can sync all my password and bookmark to Safari on Mac and iPad. Reading list, reader mode, and adblock are also awesome. Is there any browser on Android that come close with this functionality?
Also, does Chrome and Firefox also sync your passwors to Desktop browser? And how do you open tab in background in Samsung Internet Browser?

Notification sound disappear using android wear
After a while, I've understood when my phone loses notifications sound.
If I'm listening musing with headphones (lg brand in my case), start a call using a voice command to my watch (Lg gwatch R), when I unplug the headphones I've no notification sound, only vibe. No problem with call ringtone.
I've tried to mute and unmute, change notification sound ecc ecc.
The only solution seems to be rebooting the phone.
Any idea?

[GUIDE]Changing Mac Address of Moto G 2014
Guys I am posting A guide to change the MAC address of MOTO G 2014.... This Method is tested by me on XT1068 on CM 13 and will hopefully work with all variants and ROMS...
*DISCLAIMER*
I am not responsible for bricked devices and other phone related problems(which shouldn't happen if you follow the guide properly)....
please refrain from using this guide for anny illegal purposes....Changing mac is not illegal...but if you use it to screw anybody,it will be illegal.

REQUIREMENTS-
1. a rooted phone
2. a file explorer with root exploring capabilities (ES ,Root explorer,etc....)
STEPS-
1.first use your file explorer and grant root permissions to it....
2. navigate to /system/etc/firmare/wlan/prima/
and locate a file called WCNSS_qcom_cfg.ini
3.Open the file and find the section as
Intf0MacAddress=xxxxxxxxxxxx
Intf1MacAddress=xxxxxxxxxxxx
Intf2MacAddress=xxxxxxxxxxxx
Intf3MacAddress=xxxxxxxxxxxx
where xxxxxxxxxxxx will be some mac addresses from which Intf3MacAddress will be your current MAC address...
Copy this xxxxxxxxxxxx value and save this someplace if you want to restore your mac address later....
Rules for Writing MAC...
a. Should only be 12 digits long
b. Use only numbers from 0-9 and alphabets from A-F
4.Now just change all these xxxxxxxxxxxx values to your required mac address...For example,I change it to 000A0000000F...
5.Now just save the file and Reboot
6.After Reboot you can check the changed MAC in settings->Wi-Fi->Advanced and scroll to last portion....
This Mac change will be persistent and will not change after reboots....You can restore your old mac by typing it in place of modified addresses...

Choppy, Slow, Distorted Nexus 6 audio issue
I don't know how to describe this audio issue. It seems to be rare, it does it for some games not others and does it with my Bluetooth headphones in some games and not others. I'm running Shamu with AICP Rom (3/29 build) and running B14CKB1RD 1.7 kernel. Check out https://youtu.be/WLqPBTIOxuo the video will help to explain the issue. Is there a fix for this? Washed out colors and details in front camera?
Hello everyone,
Once I had a sony cellphone with the first 1.3 mp camera and the front camera of S7 Edge reminds me of that picture quality. Is anyone experiencing same thing? Any work around for it?

Need TWRP
I am trying to update my TWRP so that I can take new updates for Cyanogenmod 13.0. Currently I cannot even boot into recovery, and my attempts at ADB flashing TWRP is not working. Phone currently has S-on, no clue Why-TF that is the case, but it is. I believe I need to get it to S-off again, any idea on how to do that? I have Sunshine installed, but wont run because "Phone is not close enough to stock". Any help would be great!

M9 failed update = lots of trouble....
Hello and thanks for taking a look at my issue,
So a failed update to the firmware from 5.0.2 to 6.0 led to all kinds of frustration these last few days.
Currently download mode reads:
***RELOCKED***
htc_himaulatt PVT S-ON
LK-1.0.0.0000
Radio-01.01_U11440601_72.02.50602A_F
OpenDSP-v29.2.6-00492-M8994_0702
OS-2.11.502.18

then the security warning and then SD NOT Mounted
At one point I was able to get into OEM Android Recovery which enabled me to get TWRP back on and restore a virgin 5.0.2 system.img on but it kept rebooting every time a call came in or went out text seemed to work fine though but then the phone would reboot about every 3-5 min. I gave a shot at an upgrade to 2.11.502.18 ruu.exe via parallels and Win7 it failed but the bootloader recognizes it but the phone itself thinks it's still 1.32.502.32 and on 5.0.2 not 5.1
I currently can't seem to get adb or fastboot to recognize the device on the Mac side, which I prefer working in, but the computer still asks me which side I want to connect the phone to OSX or Win7. I've tried to put the rom.zip, renamed OPJAIMG.zip, in sdcard and boot to download by holding vol down + power but it does not want to read the SDcard. I seem to currently have no recovery as well right now because I get the recovery failed text when booting into recovery.
I've had this phone as an AT&T business line purchase and it shipped about 2 weeks prior to major release date and when the stores started getting them in stock. The phone seems to be a bit more stable now but will randomly reboot upon awakening the screen...
