For people who want to convert their device back to 702L and downgrade, there's a way. After Huawei Taiwan released a downgrade pack, it's actually easy.
Result:
Battery charging is normal.
Debugging mode can be turned on.
Basically everything's just working!
You have a fully functional gem-702L.
Caution:
1, My device was perchased in Taiwan. Therefor, all files I used in this process are for TW gem-702l. Please download all the required files in TW version, just in case.
I am not sure if it works on 702l devices of other regions (I can't see why not), but I am sure for all TW 702L, you can make a full convert back to 702l.
2, I am not a dev. I have no ability to help you if you brick your device. You need to consider this before you decide to go ahead.

Prepartion:
1. Download 702L TW downgrade pack (it's only 2 kb): http://ift.tt/1TNXImq
2. Download 702L TW B005 full stock rom(1.25gb): http://ift.tt/1TNY5xc
3. Download 702L TW B005 flashable cust zip (Thank ajsmsg78 for making it a while back):http://ift.tt/1TNXWde
4. Downlload TWRP-ENG-5.0.img (please find it somewhere in the forum).

Process:
1. My device was on 703L B112 stock. I am not sure if you can do it directly from android 6.0, feel free to try or downgrade to B112 stock rom first.
2. extract boot.img, cust.img, system.img, userdata.img, recovery.img from gem-702l B005 stock rom, and fastboot flash all of them.
Let the phone turn on, do minial setup. Now everything in "About phone" is correct except the internal storage volume.
3. (I am not sure if this step is necessary but I did it anyway) Flash twrp 5.0, then flash gem-702l b005 cust zip.
4. Flash stock recovery, then do a factory reset and format internal storage. Now everything in "About phone" is correct.
5. Extract file from the downgrade pack. Put the extracted dload directory in your sdcard. Dload it. It should go through 100%.
(If it fails, that means your system's still on Android 5.1.1, and this method doesn't apply to your device. No need to go any further, just flash back to gem-703L B112 and stay there.)
6, Aftet the phone turns back on, copy the full gem-702l B005 stock rom to your sdcard, then update it by dloading. It should go through 100%.
Voila! You are back.
Now you are on gem-702L TW B005, You can upgrade to B201 if you want, or flash back to your regional stock rom (Couldn't say if it works. It will be nice if someone can confirm it.)
