Galaxy Nexus I9250 Root - Unsucessfull

Hi all! I am completely new in Android phone rooting and flashing. I decided to upgrade my Galaxy Nexus (I9250) phone with CM 13(latest version). I flashed the recovery mode with the CM flash image and also uploaded the .IMG files of CM and Gapps to the phone. Once I tried to install CM it was working fine but the Gapps installation failed with error 70 "insufficient memory" or something like that. I checked some posts in internet and performed factory reset of the phone, then I wiped all the data. However I lost the .IMG files of CM and Gapps and now the phone is without software.

I tried to restore the factory ROM using ODIN but it keeps crashing with "ODIN has stopped working" on my Windows 7 based PC.

Could you please advise how can I recover the stock ROM or to install any Android version? I also have a backup of all the data initially.

And at the end I am just wondering if this Nexus can read data from an USB flash drive using a cable from micro-USB to USB as there is no SD card present for this model.

I hope you can help.

KR,
Emilian
