OnePlus to Choose 10 People to Review the OnePlus 5T Early

OnePlus has a program called "The Lab" that gets revived each time the company releases a new product. This time, the goal is for them to pick 10 people who want to get their hands on the new device early. In return, the selected group has to provide an open and honest review of the product ahead of time. The company has just announced The Lab: OnePlus 5T Edition and is currently looking for 10 people within the community who will be among the first ones to receive the OnePlus 5T in the world.

The OnePlus 5T is far from a secret now. The OnePlus 5 has been out of stock for weeks now and we've already seen a couple of alleged renders that reveal what the upcoming successor will look like. The new flagship phone will go on sale in on November 21st and OnePlus will be holding a launch event for it on November 16th.

Now, OnePlus wants to get some opinions about the OnePlus 5T through their Lab program, and do some marketing and promotion for the product along the way. The company is asking for help from those who "have a knack for reviewing flagship-level technology". If you feel that describes you, then you could be one of the first 10 people in the world to get your hands on the OnePlus 5T. The goal of this "review squad" is to receive a freshly minted device from OnePlus and then start using it. The review squad would then be asked to share their impressions and reviews with the community in a timely and honest manner.

As a bit from the fine print, OnePlus reserves the right to use and publish any production materials (video, pictures, articles, etc.) that are generated and submitted during the review period. Even if you aren't picked first, your name will be added to a "backup reviewer list" in case another person who was chosen is unable to fulfil their obligations. Those who are interested will want to go here and fill out the form as OnePlus will make their final selection by 10:00 PM (EDT) on November 15th.
